JAMESTOWN – Donald L. Emmert, 65, former Jamestown resident, died at 4 p.m. Thursday in Casey Nursing Home at Casey, Ill. Mr. Emmert was a retired employe of Marathon Oil Co. and a member of Parke Masonic Lodge 8 at Rockville. He was born April 23, 1908, at Jamestown, a son Samuel and Maude Britsch Emmert. He was married on Sept. 21, 1940 to Piety Towle. Surviving are the widow and two brothers, Dean of Jamestown and James of Indianapolis. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Walker Funeral Home here. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Saturday. Masonic services will be held in the funeral home at 8 p.m. Saturday. – jlr
